Jay Briley

Jay Briley has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Jay started their career as an Executive Intern at UNC REX Healthcare in 2002. Afterwards, they joined ECU Health in 2003 and held various leadership roles, including Administrative Fellow, Administrator for Special Projects, Administrator for Neurosciences, Service Line Administrator for Clinical Services Development, Vice President of Clinical Services at Albemarle Health, and Vice President of Operations at ECU Health Duplin Hospital. Their most recent positions include President of ECU Health Duplin Hospital and President of ECU Health Community Hospitals.

Jay Briley received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, Jay attended the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and completed a Master of Health Administration (MHA) program.
