Kenan Atkins is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and information technology with over 20 years of experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Manager of Cybersecurity Operations & Physical Security at ECU Health since July 2024, Kenan leads the execution of cybersecurity and physical operations for the health system's hospitals, focusing on threat detection and incident response. Previously, Kenan held the position of Manager of Cybersecurity Technology at Bon Secours Mercy Health, overseeing the operation of critical security applications for an organization with 100,000 employees. Kenan's prior experience includes leadership roles in cybersecurity at Hamilton Beach Brands Inc. and Bon Secours Health System, as well as technical support roles at Wells Fargo Advisors, Qimonda, and Capital One. Kenan possesses a strong foundation in IT function areas, from server administration to cybersecurity.
