Brendan Mannix has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brendan started their career as a professional baseball player for the New York Mets from May 2002 to August 2003. Following that, they worked as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual from August 2003 to August 2004. Brendan then co-owned and served as the Director of Financial Operations at Mid-Atlantic Control Systems, LLC from August 2004 to July 2012.

In 2012, Mannix joined Aramark Refreshment Services and held multiple roles during their tenure. Brendan initially served as a Finance Manager from November 2012 to October 2014, overseeing accounting, finance, customer service, and warehouse operations. Later, they were promoted to the position of Region Finance Director - East, where they managed a team of 50+ employees across eight locations. Brendan was responsible for P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Brendan also played a key role in business transformation initiatives and due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions. Mannix served in this role until August 2019.

Currently, they are employed as the Vice President Finance at EDA CONTRACTORS, INC. since August 2019. In this position, they act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and the Executive Leadership team. Brendan oversees all areas of general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. Additionally, they assess and evaluates the financial performance of the organization in alignment with short-term and long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.

Brendan Mannix attended Villanova University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, General. Brendan later pursued further education at Walden University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Corporate Finance.
