Jan Wilmott has a long history of professional experience in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, talent management, and succession planning. Jan began their career in 1997 as Director of Learning & Development for The Boeing Company, where they were responsible for developing and deploying transformational learning experiences for the company's 20,000 first, mid, and executive level leaders. In 2005, they joined UBS AG as Executive Director of the UBS Leadership Institute, where they established strategic direction for enterprise-wide talent management processes, systems, and tools. In 2009, Wilmott became Founding Partner of Canaan Ridge - The Center for Professional Development and Director of Leadership Development for Royal Bank of Canada, where they led the creation of a new Competency Framework, Leadership Model, bespoke 360 assessments, HiPo strategy, Action Learning, executive coaching and succession candidate mentoring programs. In 2014, they established Wilmott Consulting, LLC and has since been working with organizations and individuals in the areas of executive coaching, leadership development, talent management, and succession planning to create organizationally aligned and fully integrated development strategies. Jan has also served on the Board of Directors for Outward Bound Canada and the Toronto Children's Chorus. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Executive Coach at the Center for Creative Leadership and in 2018, they joined The Weber Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant.
Jan Wilmott obtained their EMBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School in 2001, where they studied Management. Jan also obtained their BSOB from the University of California, San Francisco in 1986, where they studied Organization Behavior.
