Jane McDonald Black

Jane McDonald Black is a seasoned professional dedicated to education equity and community service, currently serving as a founding member of the Minnesota Hunt Institute Path Forward Literacy Team and a Board Member at EdAllies. With significant contributions to educational reform, Jane holds advisory roles at the Dougherty Family College and Great Minnesota Schools, promoting high-performance educational outcomes in Minneapolis. Jane's leadership experience extends to the BARR Center as an Executive Board Director, focusing on improving academic gains and social-emotional support across U.S. schools. Additional roles include Board and Scholarship Committee Member for The Aim Higher Foundation and former Chair of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, where fundraising initiatives thrived under Jane's guidance. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, Jane also has a background in commercial real estate and hotel management.
