Shangshang Mu currently serves as an Applications Engineer at EDAX since October 2018, where responsibilities include providing technical expertise and customer support for EDS, WDS, and micro-XRF products, along with producing application notes and conducting webinars. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate/Lab Manager at the Southeastern North Carolina Regional Microanalytical and Imaging Consortium, where management of advanced analytical equipment and customer support were key duties, and as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard University, leading lab sections for an undergraduate course. Shangshang Mu's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from Boston University, a Master's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Chengdu University of Technology.
