Klea Dhimitri has been serving as Applications Engineer III at Hamamatsu Corporation since June 2018, leading quantum projects and fostering cross-departmental collaborations to enhance sales and marketing initiatives. Previously, in the role of Applications Engineer II, Klea provided technical training on scientific CMOS cameras and LCOS-SLM, produced webinar series on quantum technologies, and reported on photonic trends at scientific conferences. As Applications Engineer I, support was given to researchers and sales engineers in testing environments utilizing Hamamatsu photodetectors. Prior research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher at The City College Center for Discovery and Innovation, focusing on the interfaces of Al and InAs, and participation in the CUNY Summer Undergraduate Research Program in photonics. Klea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Hunter College.
