Electronic Records Analyst at NYC Economic Development Corporation

Courtney Scott has a strong background in library and records management. From 2017 to present, they worked as an Electronic Records Analyst at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where they cataloged physical and electronic records, ensured retention compliance, and promoted records management best practices. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they were a Library Technician at EnSoftek, where they cataloged records, assisted with search requests, and managed sensitive documents. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Library Assistant at Fitch Ratings, organizing and retrieving records and maintaining cataloging records. Courtney also has experience as a Collection Processing Assistant at the New York Public Library from 2011 to 2013.

Courtney Scott began their education journey in 2004 at Brooklyn College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in an unspecified field of study. Courtney continued their studies at the same institution and earned a degree in Anthropology in 2008. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Science in Library and Information Science at Queens College - City University of New York, completing their degree in that field. Most recently, from 2017 to 2021, Courtney attended the Syracuse University School of Information Studies and earned a Master's degree in Library and Information Science.
