Jordan Bass

Jordan Bass currently serves as the Deputy Budget Director at the New York City Economic Development Corporation since May 2022. Prior to this role, Jordan held various positions at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget from August 2016 to April 2022, including Unit Head for Environmental Protection, Supervising Analyst, Senior Environmental Budget Analyst, and Budget Analyst, focusing on budgeting for the Department of Environmental Protection. Earlier experience includes working as an Energy and Environmental Analyst at Eastern Research Group, Inc., where management of energy and water conservation programs occurred, and serving as a Policy Intern at the Bureau of Land Management, analyzing hydraulic fracturing policies. Jordan began a career as a Research Analyst at Payment Partners, Inc. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Geology from the University of Delaware and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Sustainability Studies at NYU Stern School of Business.
