Matthew Petric

Matthew Petric is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development and strategic planning. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation since January 2022, Matthew previously held the role of Vice President. Prior experience includes leadership positions at McKinsey & Company from October 2018 to November 2021 as Team Lead in the Center for an Inclusive US Economy, and various roles at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs from July 2011 to June 2016, culminating as Executive Director of Analysis and Strategic Planning. Matthew's early career includes work with the Peace Corps in Community and Organizational Development. Academically, Matthew holds an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management, a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University.
