EDCO - Economic Development for Central Oregon

EDCO focuses on helping companies do the following: Move. We guide employers outside the region through the relocation process as a resource for regional data, incentives, talent, site selection, and more. Start. We mentor and advise scalable young companies from concept to exit on issues such as access to capital, critical expertise, and strategy. Grow. We help local traded‐sector* companies expand by finding suppliers, workforce sourcing, permitting, and incentives. Impacts of EDCO: • Diversifying the regional economy through development and growth of key industries: advanced manufacturing, brewing & distilling, bioscience & medical devices, outdoor recreation & apparel, and high technology. • Growing job opportunities to sustain the middle class and next generation labor force. Benefits of being a member: • Support EDCO’s efforts to build a stronger, more stable local economy. • Get connected with business referrals and assistance. • Promote your business through EDCO’s sponsorship opportunities and networking events. • Discounts to attend truly top notch networking events. EDCO is a regional organization with community offices in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Prineville, Redmond, and Sisters. *By “traded-sector” we mean any employer (regardless of size) that sells a majority of their goods or services outside the region and thereby imports new dollars to be circulated within Central Oregon’s economy.
