Jason Kakazu

Jason Kakazu has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Jason began their career in 2000 as a Senior Technical Lead at Flying J, where they were responsible for all development on the Lotus Notes/Domino NoSQL document platforms. Jason then moved on to NSLimited in 2009, where they worked as a Consultant on a variety of clients and projects. In 2012, they became the VP of Technology at Sidewalk, Inc., where they managed a team of 30 tech professionals and was responsible for all technology aspects of Sidewalk's flagship textbook rental e-Commerce products. In 2018, they joined Ancestry as a Development Manager and Sr. Software Engineer, and currently they are a Principle Software Engineer at Eddy | HR software for local businesses.

Jason Kakazu completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Weber State University between 1999 and 2002. Jason then went on to pursue an MBA from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, graduating in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
