Senior Vice President, APAC Strategy & Australia Business Lead at Edelman Data & Intelligence

Emma Davey has a diverse work experience in the fields of public relations, strategy, and transformation. Emma is currently a Senior Vice President at Edelman DXI, where they are responsible for regional strategy and transformation in the APAC region. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Regional Strategy and Transformation at the same company.

Before joining Edelman DXI, Emma worked at Edelman as an Associate Strategy Director, where they played a vital role in driving business growth and learning and development for colleagues. Emma was also responsible for regional planning, digital and brand strategy development, creative ideation, and new business development.

In addition to their roles at Edelman, Emma has also worked as a freelance travel and lifestyle writer and held positions at Ogilvy Public Relations, Weber Shandwick/Creation, Sakai English Academy, Access Public Relations Australia, Pulse (part of opr Agency), and Real Insurance Pty Ltd.

Throughout their career, Emma has been recognized for their contributions and was shortlisted for PR Awards Asia Young PR Professional of the Year in 2019 and 2020. Emma has also led successful projects, including the Hong Kong Literary Festival, which received awards at PR Awards Asia and Marketing Magazines Markies Awards.

Emma Davey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Media from the University of Technology Sydney between 2009 and 2011. Emma then pursued a Professional TESOL Diploma in Education from the Australasian Training Academy from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their International Baccalaureate at St Paul's Grammar School Penrith from 1995 to 2007. Emma Davey also holds additional certifications, including a Mini MBA from the Australian Institute of Management (obtained in 2023), Cultivating Creative Collaboration from IDEO U (obtained in 2019), and a Teacher Of English To Speakers Of Other Languages from ATA TESOL College (obtained in 2014).
