Global Chief People & Culture Officer at Edelman

Lisa Sepulveda is Chief Client Officer at Edelman and a member of Edelman’s 10-person Executive Committee. Lisa co-leads the firm’s client experience program – working with Edelman teams across all practices and geographies to ensure delivery of creative, quality, client work. Under her direction, Edelman’s approach to client service and strategy is centralized, and Lisa is focused on growing top client leaders, teams and relationships.

Lisa brings over 25 years of marketing experience to her clients. She has played an integral role in some of Edelman’s most significant work, including: the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty and ongoing self-esteem initiatives, the eBay/PayPal split, Kellogg’s “Open for Breakfast”, and Advil and Claritin’s switch to OTC. Lisa oversees a portfolio of clients including eBay, Johnson & Johnson, Mars, PayPal, Shire, Starbucks and Unilever. In addition to leading some of the most talked about communications campaigns for brands; Lisa is a master mentor. She is responsible for sparking the start of myriad careers and has helped guide, coach and motivate many in their professions.

Throughout her career, Lisa has established strong relationships working with organizations such as The American Cancer Society, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Health & Human Services, and Susan G. Komen. Sepulveda is a committed contributor to She’s the First, a non-profit focused on girls’ education in the developing world.

Lisa has won many awards including 2017 Mentor of the Year from She’s the First. Lisa was listed in the 40 Women to Watch Over 40 ranking in 2016 and won SmartCeo’s Brava Award in 2016, honoring top female CEOs and including a feature in Forbes “#likeaboss” leadership profile. Lisa is on the Board of Trustees at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, New Jersey.

Lisa has held prior leadership roles at Edelman, and was the CEO of Euro RSCG Worldwide PR. In her last role before returning to Edelman, Lisa was President, Global Consumer Marketing at Weber Shandwick.

Lisa lives in Rockland County, NY with her family. She is an ardent supporter of both of her daughters and their rivaling college sports teams. Each year, for the past five years, Lisa has committed to a major breast cancer fundraising event such as the Susan G. Komen and Avon 39 walks to end breast cancer.
