Andreas Meier has extensive work experience in various roles within the communications and media industry. Andreas started their career in 1999 at Radio 24, where they worked as a Moderator, Head of Music, and Leiter Moderation until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience in music programming and on-air hosting. In 2004, Andreas joined Radio Basilisk Betriebs AG as the Head of Music, where they remained until 2007. In 2014, they transitioned to a new role as the Head of Corporate Communications at Edelweiss. Currently, Andreas is working as a Dozent für Rhetorik und Auftrittskompetenz at BZLU Bildungszentrum Luzern, starting in 2021.
Andreas Meier has a diverse education history. In 1989, they attended Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz and obtained an Eidgenössisches Handelsdiplom. Following that, in 1996, they enrolled at SAWI and completed a degree in Werbeassistent mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis, focusing on PR, Werbung, and angewandte Kommunikation. In 2009, Andreas attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in Communication Management and Leadership with a specialization in Geschäfts-/Unternehmenskommunikation.
