Dhawal Dalal has a strong background in the fixed income asset management industry. Dhawal is currently the Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer - Fixed Income at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited, where they manage a significant amount of LC fixed income assets. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Investment Officer - Fixed Income at the same company, overseeing around INR 50,000 crore of assets. Before joining Edelweiss, Dhawal held the position of Executive Vice President & Head - Fixed Income at DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund, where they managed fixed income assets worth INR 250 billion across various funds. Dhawal began their career as a Research Associate at Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
Dhawal Dalal pursued their education at the L.D. College of Engineering, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dhawal attended this college from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they furthered their education at The University of Dallas, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Dhawal completed their MBA from 1994 to 1996.
