Ranjit Kumar has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on institutional sales. Ranjit is currently serving as the Sr. Vice President & Head - Institutional Sales at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President & Zonal Head (North)-Institutional Sales at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they worked at Axis Bank as the Dy. Vice President - Institutional Sales from 2012 to 2013. Ranjit also has experience with Religare Finvest Limited (SME Loans) as the Senior Vice President - Institutional Sales from 2010 to 2012 and with JM Financial Ltd. as the Vice President - Corporate Wealth from 2005 to 2010. Ranjit started their career at Centrum Finance Limited as the Asst. Vice President- Debt Capital Markets from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they worked as a Dealer - Fixed Income at JM Morgan Stanley Financial Limited from 2004 to 2005.

Ranjit Kumar completed their B Com (Hons.) degree from Dyal Singh College, Delhi University from 1993 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a PGDBM degree in Finance from EMPI Business School between 1997 and 1999.
