Rieley Auger is currently the Project Inventory & Monitoring Systems Coordinator (Africa Area) at Eden Reforestation Projects. Prior to this, they worked as a research assistant at the University of Maryland studying the impacts of forest carbon on campus and helping to inform the university's carbon-neutral pledge. They also interned with the NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration conducting marine surveys in Chesapeake Bay tributaries using SONAR devices to find suitable habitats for oyster restoration projects. Additionally, they interned at the U.S. Naval War College where they managed and created Library Databases for historic instructions, supervised a historic book collection move to prevent mold, and were in charge of processing new books into the main collection. Finally, they have experience working in a greenhouse at Schartner’s Farm Market.
Rieley Auger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy with a focus on land use from the University of Maryland.
