Robin Cridland

Robin Cridland is a British business executive who has served as the chief financial officer and company secretary for two publicly traded companies, Renovo Group and Itaconix. Robin is currently a non-executive director at Eden Research.

Cridland began their career in 1989 as an audit and consulting executive at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. Robin left PwC in 1996 to join Enskilda Securities as a corporate finance executive.

In 2001, they were recruited by Renovo Group as their chief financial officer and company secretary. During their seven-year tenure at Renovo, Cridland was instrumental in various in and out licensing deals, the 2006 IPO on the London Stock Exchange, and the 2007 Shire license deal.

In 2008, Cridland left Renovo to join Itaconix as their CFO and company secretary. During their 10-year tenure at Itaconix, they oversaw the acquisition of Itaconix Corporation (US based) in 2016 and the associated capital raise of £5.8m. Robin also negotiated and executed supply and other operational agreements, managed investor relations, and was responsible for the company's tax and HR functions. In 2018, they successfully negotiated a £3.5m refinancing deal for Itaconix.

Robin Cridland has an MA 1st Class in Natural Sciences from Christ Church, University of Oxford. Robin also went to Marlborough College. Robin is a FCA (Fellowship) from the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
