Nishani R.

Nishani Rajakulendran is an experienced clinical operations director at Edesa Biotech, Inc., having progressively advanced from Research and Development Associate to Research and Development Manager before assuming the director role in July 2019. Key achievements include the successful development of regulatory documents approved by Health Canada and the FDA, oversight of Phase 2 clinical trials, and preparation of strategic management updates. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Project Leader at the University of Toronto, where Nishani built collaborative relationships, managed research projects resulting in multiple top-tier publications, secured over $150,000 in funding, and mentored undergraduate students. Nishani holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, an MSc in Pharmacology and Toxicology, and a B.Sc. in Cell and Molecular Biology, all from the University of Toronto.
