Steve Edmond

Steve Edmond is a seasoned Health and Safety professional with extensive experience in the energy and utility sectors. Currently serving as the Smart Metering Health and Safety Manager at EDF Energy since January 2012, Steve manages Health, Safety, and Environmental performance for contractor partners and successfully implemented interventions that led to a 30% reduction in gas escapes. Previously, Steve held roles as ECO Health & Safety Manager at EDF Energy and Health & Safety Manager at Morrison Utility Services, where effective processes and improvement plans were developed to enhance Health and Safety performance. An earlier career included roles at EDF Energy as Health and Safety Advisor and positions in management and operations with ntl and Mercury Communications. Steve holds an MSc in Environment, Health and Safety from the University of Sunderland.
