Tom Siddall

Tom Siddall is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Group Head at EDF Energy since February 2008, where responsibilities include managing a team of structural integrity and thermo-hydraulics experts in addressing emergent plant issues and supporting the long-term structural integrity of both conventional and nuclear plants. Prior to this role, Tom was the Technical Lead at EDF Energy, focusing on the structural analysis of nuclear safety significant plants. From February 1999 to February 2008, Tom held the position of Analysis Manager at Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, overseeing a team of approximately 50 staff in structural and dynamics analysis for aircraft undercarriage systems. Earlier career roles include Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer at APPH Ltd and Senior Engineer at Edbro plc, as well as a Structural Engineer position. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
