Vanessa Rand

Vanessa Rand is an experienced tax professional with a strong specialization in indirect tax. Currently serving as the Head of Indirect Tax at EDF (UK) since September 2021, Vanessa previously held similar leadership roles at Heathrow from March 2012 to August 2021, overseeing indirect tax advisory and compliance for BAA. Earlier career experience includes the position of Acting Group Head of VAT at BBC and various roles at Deloitte focusing on indirect taxes and tax policy. Vanessa's professional journey began at Arthur Andersen & Co. as an Indirect Tax Manager. Vanessa holds advanced qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a BSc in International Management with American Business Studies from UMIST University of Manchester, supplemented by a study exchange at McMaster University.
