Darrel Lopez

Darrel Lopez is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Solar, Storage, Technical Training, & BOP Support Services at EDF Renewables North America since March 2014. Lopez has held various leadership roles within the company, including Director and Associate Director of Solar, Storage, and BOP Support Services. Prior experience includes managing operations at Heartland Biogas LLC, plant management at Copper Mountain Solar, and supervisory roles at NRG Energy and Eldorado Energy, LLC. Lopez's career began in the US Navy, where responsibilities included supervising personnel in the operation and maintenance of naval nuclear reactors. Academically, Lopez holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from The New School and completed Naval Nuclear Power School.
