Mathilde Pinel

Mathilde Pinel is a Project Estimation Data Analyst at EDF Renewables North America, where data-driven analyses and technology leverage are utilized to enhance project offtake opportunities. In a previous role as an Innovation Analyst, Mathilde applied digital technologies such as AI and machine learning to promote business growth in energy systems, creating tools to reduce LCOE and LCOS while identifying new revenue streams. Mathilde gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on flooding risk mapping through natural hazard and infrastructure analysis. Additional engineering experience includes positions as a Project Engineer at Cal Construction, where integrated solutions for design and sustainability were achieved, and as a System Engineer during the Dassault UAV Challenge, where autonomous drone programming was performed. Mathilde holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and is pursuing a Combined BSc/MSc in Engineering at Arts et Métiers.
