Gabriel Venter

Gabriel Venter has a strong background in the energy trading industry. Gabriel began their career at Williams Power in 2000 as a Power Trader, and stayed with the company until 2007. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in trading and managing power assets. Gabriel then joined RBC Capital Markets as a Manager of Real Time Trading, and later became a Power Trader. Gabriel worked at RBC from 2007 to 2013. Following this, Gabriel worked at Kruger Energy Trading as a Managing Partner and Trader from 2013 to 2014. Most recently, Gabriel has been working at EDF Trading. Gabriel started as the Manager of East Real Time Optimization in 2016 and was responsible for managing the hourly operation of EDF's client generation. Gabriel has since been promoted to Director of Real Time Operations, a role they have held since 2018.
