Shaddy Ahmed

Shaddy Ahmed, PhD, currently serves as an Atmospheric Data Scientist at EDF Trading since August 2023. Previously, Shaddy worked as a PhD Researcher in Atmospheric Chemistry Modelling at IGE from October 2019 to December 2022, leading a research project on Arctic atmospheric chemistry and developing open-source atmospheric models, contributing to five peer-reviewed publications. Shaddy also held leadership roles in the Cryosphere & Atmospheric Chemistry (CATCH) initiative, organizing virtual seminars and curating a newsletter for over 300 subscribers. Additional experience includes visiting researcher roles at the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie, a data assurance internship at PwC, and other internships with the Financial Conduct Authority and J.P. Morgan. Shaddy holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from Université Grenoble Alpes and an MSci in Chemistry with Mathematics from UCL.
