Simon Ampe has seven years of work experience. In 2010, they were a Year Representative and Economics Faculty Week Organizer at the faculty of Economics Kulak, where they motivated and led a team of 24 students, resulting in 950 attendees at the final event and a massive profit. In 2013, they were a Junior Account Manager Trainee at Group Van Damme, a Junior Project Manager Internship at IBM, and a Member of Corporate Relations Committee at Ekonomika. At IBM, they enlarged the number of participants for Minerva Project and set up an online conference about breast cancer prevention. At Ekonomika, they looked for marketing opportunities for partners and organized recruiting events. In 2014, they were a Student Project Leader at KBC Bank & Verzekering, where they set up a student innovation competition from scratch. In 2016, they were a Student Go-to-Market Research at Edgard & Cooper, a start-up that launches a new dog food brand, and a Young Talent Program at Nestl\u00e9, where they visited clients and augmented sales. Since 2017, Simon has held three roles at Edgard & Cooper: Brand Lead, Marketing Manager BE, NL & IT, and Senior Brand Manager.
Simon Ampe has a diverse educational background. In 2020, they completed a Mini MBA in Brand Management at Marketing Week. From 2015 to 2016, they attended Vlerick Business School and obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing Management M3. Simon also obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Economics and Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven in 2010-2015.
