Aleksandrs Kiriļčenko

Flight Test Engineer at Edge Autonomy

Aleksandrs Kiriļčenko has work experience in various roles and companies. Aleksandrs started their career as a Warehouse Employee at SIA "ATTA-1" in 2016. Later, in 2017, they worked as a Bar Waiter at SIA RISTRETTO until 2020. In 2019, they briefly worked as an Event Organizer at Latvian Sports Federations Council. From 2011 to 2017, they served as a Basketball Referee for LJBS Latvijas Basketbola savienība. In 2021, they joined airBaltic as a Junior Avionics Engineer for a few months. Currently, they are working at Edge Autonomy (formerly UAV Factory) as a Production Technician since September 2021 and has also taken up the role of Flight Test Engineer from November 2021.

Aleksandrs Kiriļčenko has a diverse education history. Aleksandrs started their education journey at the Imantas secondary school, where they completed their primary education from 2004 to 2015. Following their graduation, they attended the Grammar school of Nordic languages and obtained a High School Diploma in 2016.

In 2016, Aleksandrs briefly enrolled at Latvijas Universitate to pursue Mathematics and Statistics but did not obtain a degree from the institution.

In 2017, they joined Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. Aleksandrs completed this four-year program in 2021.

Furthering their education, Aleksandrs continued their studies at the same university and enrolled in a Master's degree program in Transport Systems Engineering in 2021. Aleksandrs is expected to complete this program in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Aleksandrs obtained the Bombardier BD-500 Series (PW PW1500) EASA Part-66 C Theoretical certification from airBaltic Training in February 2021. Furthermore, they obtained an A1 level certification in the Swedish language from Learning Center "New Horizons" in June 2015.
