José Solano

José Solano currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Latin America at the World Green Building Council and has held the position of Director of Sustainability at INNOTICA since November 2019. With extensive experience in sustainability and environmental impact, José also acts as a technical advisor for the Consejo Venezolano de Construcción Sostenible and leads the Sustainability Commission at the Cámara Venezolana de Empresas Consultoras. Additional roles include EDGE Faculty and EDGE Expert for EDGE Buildings, and President of the Technical Committee CT58 at Fondonorma. José's previous experience includes a robust tenure at VEPICA, where responsibilities spanned environmental project management and consultation. Educated in Chemical Engineering, with a Master’s in Environmental Engineering, José is pursuing a Doctorate in Sustainable Development at Universidad Simón Bolívar.
