Mauro Cepeda Ortiz

Mauro Cepeda Ortiz is an accomplished architectural designer and energy efficiency expert with a strong focus on bioclimatic design. As a Socio Fundador at Arch-BIO® since February 2018, Mauro has played a key role in promoting sustainable architecture. In addition, Mauro serves as an auditor and expert for EDGE Buildings, providing technical support for various green building projects in Ecuador. Mauro's academic contributions include teaching at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and Universidad de Las Américas, where courses on bioclimatics and sustainability are offered. With previous experience as an architect and consultant across several firms, Mauro holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Building Technology from the University of Nottingham and a degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
