Paul Kwesi Ocran is an accomplished Green Buildings Specialist and sustainability consultant with extensive experience in promoting green building practices and environmental sustainability across various sectors. Currently serving as a Green Buildings Specialist-Consultant at IFC, Paul contributes to the EDGE program aimed at enhancing green building adoption in developing countries. As the Founder and Principal Sustainability Consultant at HSLCARBON.COM, expertise lies in greenhouse gas project development, while leadership at HSL AFRICA focuses on greening real estate portfolios and environmental risk management for financial institutions. Paul’s previous roles include EDGE Consultant Africa at SGS and Technical Specialist at UNEP/UNIDO, where efforts led to significant sustainability advancements and job creation in Ghana. With advanced education in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Paul combines technical knowledge with a strong commitment to sustainability initiatives.
