Rocio Montana Novoa

Rocio Montana Novoa possesses extensive experience in energy efficiency and sustainability, currently serving as an Energy Efficiency Consultant for The World Bank since May 2021. As an independent consultant since July 2016, Rocio specializes in energy and sustainability for the built environment. Rocio holds the position of EDGE Expert and Interim Auditor at EDGE Buildings, providing technical support for green building design and certification in Mexico. Previous roles include serving as a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, coordinating the ECOCASA Programme at the Inter-American Development Bank, and advising on sustainable housing strategies with GIZ. Rocio's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana and two MSc degrees in Housing Futures from UCL.
