Dean P

Dean P has over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Dean is currently the Marketing Director at Edge Financial Services. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Financial Controller at Stretch Shapes LLC, a manufacturing company for special events solutions provider. Dean was responsible for managing accounting, financial, and payroll functions for the company. Dean also served as the project lead on developing and implementing a comprehensive Sales/AR detailed SOP. In addition, they coordinated the assessment of all corporate liability and general insurance policies to ensure coverage was adequate to minimize the potential risk of loss. Dean successfully completed 2 years SAIF audits and general insurance audits. Dean also spearheaded the financial reporting initiative for Quick Books Online (QBO) software, reconfiguring the chart of accounts to ensure enhanced, more detailed P&L statements by sales revenue types to better inform executive management. Dean prepared monthly financial statements including general ledger, A/P & A/R. Dean also managed bimonthly payroll using QBO including updating employees, benefits, and PTO accrual. Dean was charged with corporate banking and treasury management functions. Dean also reconciled all corporate credit cards monthly. Dean reconciled monthly sales board by salesperson to balance in Quick Books Online to ensure accuracy of sales reports for sales monthly commissions and bonus payouts. Lastly, they planned, developed, and implemented annual budget creating benchmarks and strategies for revenue growth.

Dean P earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Portland. Dean is certified by the Oregon Board of Accounting.
