Scott Friedman is the Director of Capital Markets at Edge Financial Services. Prior to joining Edge, Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer at Nahakama LLC from February 2016 to June 2017. There, they developed and structured securitizations and capital raisings for mining activities, and originated various outlets for financing of the company's corporate fleeting and real estate projects.
Before their time at Nahakama, Scott was with Bald Eagle Capital Advisors and Fortis Bank - Belgium. At Fortis Bank, Scott increased the profile and profitability of the US Securitization Team. Scott originated and closed transactions that contributed substantially to a four-fold increase in revenues in 2007 over 2005. Additionally, they worked with the back office to develop and implement monitoring and reporting functions.
Scott has extensive experience in the financial sector and has closed numerous transactions totaling over $450 million. Scott is a valuable asset to any team and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Edge Financial Services.
Scott Friedman has a Master of Business Administration from New York University in International Business & Finance and a Bachelor of Science from New York University in Accountancy. Scott also has certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in Series 7 & 63 Licensed.
