Hamid Aghahuseynov

Hamid Aghahuseynov, ADIT, currently serves as Group Tax Manager at EDGE since October 2023, following a tenure as Tax Manager at EY from September 2017 to October 2023. During this time, Hamid successfully delivered a major GCC VAT implementation project for a UAE-headquartered bank, functioning as a technical VAT subject matter expert. Previous roles include positions at EY and Topaz Energy and Marine, where responsibilities encompassed statutory compliance services and payroll management under local and PSA legislation. Hamid's experience also includes a sales support coordinator role at Prolink Caspian LLC & ERS and a project assistant position at Sumgait Technologies Park. Educationally, Hamid holds an MBA from SBS Swiss Business School and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Sumgayit State University, alongside qualifications in International Tax.
