Dave Walsh

Dave Walsh is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the Web Design and Development programme at Edge Hill University, a position held since September 2004. Specializing in web technologies and user experience, Dave also serves as the Academic Lead for web consultancy projects while overseeing a team of student developers. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior SAP Consultant at Atos Origin from 2000 to 2003 and as an Electrician with The Hirst and Danson Group Ltd and J Smith & Sons from 1994 to 2000. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Retrieval from The University of Sheffield, an MSc in Computing from Liverpool John Moores University, and a BSc in Business Information Systems, Computer Science from Edge Hill University.
