Carl Hagerling - We're Hiring

Carl Hagerling has a diverse background in design and leadership roles. Carl is currently the Co-Founder & Design Lead at Edge & Node, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, they founded their own company, Hagerling Form, in 2009, where they worked as a UI & Industrial Designer. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Creative Director at The Graph.

Before joining The Graph, Carl worked at Facebook as a Lead ID + UX designer at Building 8, where they were involved in creating and shipping innovative consumer hardware products. Carl also has experience in the automotive industry, having worked as a Senior UX/UI designer at Tesla from 2016 to 2017.

Additionally, Carl has held various design positions, including Senior UX Designer at MuleSoft from 2014 to 2016, Creative Director at Shore from 2013 to 2014, and Industrial Designer - freelance at IKEA Group from 2007 to 2014. Carl started their career as an Industrial Designer at Hareide Design AS, where they worked on transportation and product design projects for clients such as Volvo and Bombardier.

Carl Hagerling - We're Hiring has an education history that spans several years and includes multiple degrees and diplomas. Carl began their academic journey in 2000 at Academedia, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management. Following this, they pursued further education at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2002 to 2007, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Design with a focus on Industrial and Product Design.

In 2016, Carl sought to enhance their design leadership skills, enrolling in the Cooper Professional Education program. Carl completed a Design Leadership Diploma, which provided him with the necessary expertise to navigate the challenges of leading creative teams. Additionally, they also completed a specialized diploma in Leading Creative Ideation training at the same institution.
