Frank J. Knox

Frank co-founded Edge Velocity with a vision for establishing real-time, secure communications for use in the harshest environments in the world. He currently serves as the company’s CTO, where he oversees Edge Velocity’s strategic technology vision and direction. In this role Frank drives the product road map and configurations where necessary to integrate Edge Velocity’s technology into a client’s existing infrastructure. For high profile clients Frank and his services team often design multiple layers of integrated technology architectures to enable a robust communications solution. This work has contributed significantly to the expansion of Edge Velocity’s patent portfolio that has enabled the delivery of the company’s next-generation wireless communications technology.  As a result of Frank’s expertise and innovative spirit, the company’s technology has succeeded in the harshest deployment environments where competing solutions have failed.

Frank has more than 25 years of technical and business experience in the military and private sectors.  Prior to co-founding Edge Velocity, he led government classified advanced system design and integration services for the United States Department of the Army and the United States Department of the Navy. Frank holds several patents in the wireless and the network processing arena, under Edge Velocity.
