David Solomon is an experienced finance professional with a distinguished career in private equity and telecommunications. Solomon founded Meritage Private Equity Funds in December 1999 and serves as Managing Director. In addition, Solomon has been a Board Member at Uniti Fiber since June 2015 and at EdgeConneX since July 2011. Previously, Solomon held the position of Executive Chairman and Chairman and CEO at NuVox Communications from December 1999 to February 2010 and served as EVP and CFO at Brooks Fiber Properties from 1994 to 1998. Solomon began a career in accounting at KPMG, where the role of Partner was held from June 1981 to March 1994. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lipscomb University, completed in 1981.
