Tom Wyland

Tom Wyland has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Tom is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Strategic Analytics at EdgeConneX since 2018. Prior to that, they founded their own company called Slack Angle LLC in 2017 and served as the Founder until 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Tom Wyland worked at AOL for a significant period of time. Tom held various roles including Director of Product from 2015 to 2016, Program Director from 2010 to 2015, and Principal Network Analyst from 2004 to 2010.

Prior to AOL, they worked as the Lead IT Engineer at Qwest from 2001 to 2004, the Site Planning Manager at Teligent from 1999 to 2001, the GIS Specialist at Vista IT from 1997 to 1999, and the Geologist I at GeoTrans, Inc. from 1995 to 1997.

Tom Wyland received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological Sciences from Penn State University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in September 2014.
