Nikolay Nez

Nikolay Nez has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Nikolay is currently the Director of Engineering (Accelerator) at Edgecortix, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a DNN Accelerator Architect at the same company from November 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Edgecortix, Nikolay worked at LeapMind Inc. as the Lead Hardware Engineer/Team Leader from December 2018 to November 2019. Nikolay also served as a Hardware Engineer at LeapMind Inc. from September 2018 to December 2018.

Prior to their time at LeapMind Inc., Nikolay worked at SBI BITS as a C++ Developer from February 2016 to August 2018.

Their career started at Soft Machines in November 2010, where they held the roles of Software Engineer from April 2013 to January 2016 and Junior Software Engineer from November 2010 to March 2013. In these roles, their work involved toolchain development and porting GCC for new hardware architecture. Nikolay also contributed to binary translator development.

Nikolay Nez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Russian State Technological University named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky (MATI) in 2012. Nikolay then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2014. In addition, Nikolay Nez obtained a certification in VLSI CAD: Logic to Layout from Coursera in May 2013.
