Melyssa Plunkett-Gomez has over 28 years of work experience in various roles. Melyssa began their career in 1992 as a Consultant at Kurt Salmon, part of Accenture Strategy. In 1994, they became the Director of Global IT and Manufacturing, Supply Chain Systems at APC by Schneider Electric. Melyssa then moved on to KPMG Consulting in 1999 as a Senior Manager, eBusiness Strategy in the High Tech Practice. In 2000, they became the Global Director of Accenture Alliance at KANA Software, where they managed the international sales pipeline and developed and executed strategic alliance plans. In 2003, they took on the role of Director of Strategic Alliances at Unica Corporation, where they focused on driving collaborative and incremental revenue of Unica software. In 2007, they joined newScale Corporation as the Senior Director, Strategic Alliances and established a global alliance with Accenture. In 2008, they became the Vice President, Sales & Business Development and founding team member of Crimson Hexagon, where they were responsible for all sales, business development, and revenue generation. In 2013, they joined Allego as the Sales & Go-to-Market Executive and founding team member, and sustained an average CAGR of 200+% over the first five years and 150+% over the past three years. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Chief Commercial Officer at EdgeIQ, where they are responsible for powering the Connected Product Economy.
Melyssa Plunkett-Gomez holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
