Thomas Koestler

Thomas Koestler is an accomplished executive and board member in the health care and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Executive Director at Vatera Health Care Partners since January 2010. Koestler holds leadership roles as Chairman of the Board at both Melinta Therapeutics and Edgemont Pharmaceuticals, while also contributing to the boards of Momenta Pharmaceuticals, ImmusanT, Inc., and Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, Inc. A knowledgeable advisor, Koestler has provided expertise to Allergan as a Scientific Advisor. Previous experience includes serving as a board member at Novo Nordisk and as President of Schering-Plough Research Institute. Koestler earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology/Experimental Pathology/Medicine from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo from 1977 to 1982.
