Ben Haines

Ben Haines is the current Chief Technical Officer at Edgevana. Ben has extensive experience in leading global information systems for large organizations. Prior to Edgevana, they served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Verizon Media, where they were responsible for the execution and improvement of global information systems for over 20,000 employees across the company. During their time at Verizon Media, they led the strategic planning for future forecasting, quarterly OKR planning, and roadmap development to establish lean IT operations that effectively met the ever-evolving business needs of the organization. Ben also championed the development and creation of a Total Cost of Ownership model, providing transparency and visibility into technology spend and ROI, integrating real-time data to support critical decision making, and improving procurement practices.

Before joining Verizon Media, Haines served as Vice President of Global Information Systems at Yahoo and Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Box. Ben began their career as Chief Information Officer at Pabst Brewing Company. Haines has a proven track record in effectively leading large teams and managing complex budgets. Ben is an innovative thinker who is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and optimize operations.
