Stefan Engelen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Stefan worked at Edgeware AB as a Senior Solutions Architect since 2015, where they were involved in various technical aspects such as architecture, integration, and providing training. At SeaChange International, from 2013 to 2015, Stefan worked as a Senior System Engineer and Security Expert, focusing on the installation, configuration, integration, and validation of video on demand multi-screen systems. Stefan also played a crucial role in defining scalable solutions and integrating with third-party vendors. Stefan was a Senior Services Engineer at Verimatrix in 2013, responsible for the installation, configuration, and validation of Verimatrix VCAS and serving as a technical contact for global customers. Prior to this, Stefan worked at SeaChange as a Senior System Engineer from 2009 to 2012, where they performed similar video on demand system-related tasks. Before that, they worked as a Network Security Specialist at Compumatica secure networks in 2009. From 2006 to 2009, Stefan worked at Irdeto as a Support Engineer and DVB Integration Engineer, focusing on troubleshooting and integrating Conditional Access systems in broadcasting environments. Their work involved handling live systems responsible for delivering digital television and radio. Stefan started their career as an IT consultant and engineer at ZBC Automatisering from 2004 to 2006. Overall, Stefan has gained extensive experience in various technical roles related to video on demand systems, security, network, and IT consulting.

Stefan Engelen studied at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of ICT degree. Their field of study included User Interfaces, IP Networking, Programming, and Project Management. In addition to their formal education, Stefan Engelen also received additional certifications. Stefan obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from Global Knowledge in 2009. In 2013, they obtained the VMware Certified Associate - Cloud (VCA-Cloud) and VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization (VCA-DCV) certifications from VMware. Most recently, in August 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
