Matt Kassel

In 2011, Matt Kassel started as a Managing Director & Global Head of FX Liquidity at Edgewater Markets LLC. In 2018 Matt was made Global Head of FX Products and in 2019 was appointed Chief Operating Officer.

Matt’s 25 year career in senior roles at international banks, insurance companies, and hedge funds draws on a wealth of experience and knowledge to lead Edgewater Markets in the day to day operations of the firm. Prior to joining Edgewater Markets, Matt held senior trading and risk management positions at American International Group, Dresdner Bank, ING Capital Markets, IDEA Global, and Gellos Capital.

Matt earned his BA in Economics and Sociology from Gettysburg College, and post graduate work at the New York Institute of Finance in Foreign Exchange Econometrics.
