Tammy Sergie has an extensive work experience in human resources. Tammy Sergie most recently worked at EHN Canada, starting as the National Director, People & Culture in January 2022, then progressing to become the Senior Director and is currently the Vice President in charge of People & Culture since April 2023. Prior to that, Tammy worked at Staples, where they held several roles including Sr. Manager, Strategic Human Resources (US & Canada) from August 2017 to January 2022. Before Staples, Tammy worked at Office Depot as a Manager, Human Resources in various regions of Canada from January 2007 to February 2011. Tammy Sergie also worked at TELUS as a Human Resources Analyst from May 2005 to January 2007 and at OpenText as a Human Resources Coordinator from September 2004 to May 2005.
Tammy Sergie CHRP, CHRL, SHRM-CP has a strong educational background in business and human resources. Tammy Sergie obtained their Hon BA degree in Business Administration & International Studies from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Tammy furthered their knowledge in human resources management by pursuing a degree at Seneca Polytechnic from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. These include the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM, which they obtained in May 2015. Tammy also holds the CHRP & CHRL certifications from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association, which they obtained in January 2008. Furthermore, they have obtained the Adult Mental Health First Aid USA certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in September 2021. Overall, Tammy Sergie has a solid education history and multiple certifications that demonstrate their expertise in business administration and human resources management.
