Anthony Schrapffer

Anthony Schrapffer, PhD, currently serves as the Scientific Coordinator at the EDHEC-Risk Climate Impact Institute since December 2024. Prior to this role, Anthony was a Senior Consultant - Climate Expert at ING, where responsibilities included developing an Internal Physical Risk Evaluation Tool and training on climate change adaptation. Additionally, Anthony held the position of Head of Environmental Services and Senior Research Engineer at EthiFinance, specializing in quantifying climate-related risks. With a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences and Climatology from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and the University of Buenos Aires, as well as an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, Anthony possesses extensive expertise in climate modeling, risk assessment, and sustainable environmental practices.
