Ion U. has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, particularly within Edifecs, where Ion served as Engineering Manager since December 2013, following various roles including Sustained Engineering Manager and Lead Software Engineer. Ion led the Sustaining Engineering team, overseeing product development post-release, and played a key role in integrating Edifecs solutions with middleware products. Notably, Ion managed QA efforts, built and optimized QA teams and processes, and drove automation improvements for product quality assurance. Prior to Edifecs, Ion worked as QA Lead at Est Computer SRL and served as a University Assistant. Ion holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and a Bachelor’s degree from the Technical University of Moldova.
